Small Business Issue Session

Connect • Learn • Solve Every business has a problem it hasn’t quite figured out. The Small Business Issue Session is a free, hands-on evening where local business people work through those problems together. Here is how it works: Connect. Come on in and meet other local owners, managers and team members. A QR code on the TV lets you check in with the free TradeWins members app. From there, you can submit your own business issue or pick one from the pool of issues other local businesses have raised. Learn. The room votes live from their phones, and the top issue gets worked on the spot. You will see how to break a messy problem into smaller, manageable steps. Solve. Jay Nelson facilitates the issue from desired outcome to current reality, root cause, options and next action. Local business professionals in the room add ideas and experience, and the person who raised the issue leaves with a clear next step. Come however you like. You don’t need to be an owner. Managers, employees, future leaders and advisors are welcome. You also don’t have to check in, submit an issue or vote. Plenty of people come to listen, learn and pick up ideas for their own business, and that works just fine. If you want to join in, the app is free and takes about a minute to set up. We can’t promise every problem gets solved in one evening. We can promise you will leave with a clearer path forward and a better sense of who in your community can help. Free to attend. About TradeWins: TradeWins is a local, operator-led resource for small business owners who know the work but were never taught how to build the company around it.
